  Yeah, same with PICs.  I use the ISP (In-circuit Serial Program) mode
all the time.  Certain parts I can instruct to flash-update through
on-chip hardware or software UART, too.  Customers love this as they can
download a firmware update remotely.  Not an issue here, though.
