[sdiy] Voltages for various frequencies

I've built some of the modules for my Littleman synth, and was thinking of 
building a small keyboard interface to test them out. Unfortunately, I still 
haven't bought my MIDI keyboard and MIDI-to-CV converter yet so I was 
thinking of using a bunch of momentary push-button switches lying around 
here. I was thinking of building an extremely simplified version of the 
Formant keyboard interface... just the resistor-switch ladder circuit and a 
gate circuit. I only have 5 switches (only 5 pitches). Does anyone know the 
corresponding input voltages (for the VCO) for the various pitch 
frequencies? (I just need five)

I would also appreciate it if someone can show me a simple circuit that 
would be able to implement what I'm trying to accomplish (both the CV and 
gate circuit).
