[sdiy] CV pedal for Filter Factory

I just made one of these for my Filter Queen (I'm assuming what you need is
equivalent to the "expression pedal" 1/4" TRS jack on the Filter Queen). I
just used a volume pedal that I had lying around, and added a TRS jack,
wiring the tip connector to one end of the slide pot, and the ring to the
other)-works like a charm :^P It's the same concept as those TRS "effect
send-receive" cables commonly used with Mackie CR-1604 inserts. No active
circuitry involved whatsoever for this. Pedal used was an RFX-402 Volume
pedal. The pedal action itself is a piece of feces for ANY application, but
with a little practicing, usable -those who have used this pedal know of
what I say...not complaining, though -didn't have to spend any of the little
dinero I have left!!

Well FUNNY about this but I just resurrected my 20 year old CV
Pedal made from an old CryBaby. I used a single NPN Transistor as a voltage

follower so that the output would be reasonably independant of the load.

You could also use a higher value pot that way... and maybe extend battery
life as well.

No need to though... a simple pot will be OK as well....
