Sorry, no 4007 as VC resistors there, either.
The variable resistors are ... potentiometers.
(Intelligent use of the 4007 as *switches* is found in a lot of
variations in several Korg synthesizers, however.
Rather than combining an n-channel and p-channel to form
a 4016-style switch, the two halves of one pair are used
at different parts of the circuit simultanously.)
