Hi everyone,

just some random thoughts inspired by the noise discussion. 

To me it appears that the ideal distibution is linear because 
it is relatively easy to shape other distributions 
at least approximately from that by waveshaping techniques.

The second thing is that the digital filtering could be done 
by switched capacitor filters. These are IIR contrasting to
the FIR approach with the summing stage, but that could yield 
lower parts count.
