Hi there,

Im new to this, and just learning on my tr-606, following the old "mix"
article.

Ive completed the snare mods, as detailed at:

http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufacturers/Roland/TR-606/info/drumantix/mods/themix/snare.txt

And they sound good, but in doing so have managed to dammage somthing
concerning the din sync system.

My box now syncs, but at the wrong time. For evrey 4 beats on the master
device, my 606 plays exactly 3 beats.

If anyone could give me some advice, itlld be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, julian.

Additional information that i should mention:

using omeg pots which just fit in between the two circuit boards, and allow
control form the side of the box (i wanted all the controls to tie with the
compct nature of the machine) and not have any external boxs etc. In order
to maximise usable space it was neccisary to move Q1 and C1 to the opposit
side of the board. It is possible that i damaged these parts in the process
i guess, but, the sync opperates the same with Q1 detached completely, so im
not so sure as it is involved in the problem. Is it not the ICs that work
the clock disision?
