I'm hoping that my wife will pick up the roughly 20 or so hints that I want "The Art Of Electronics" for my birthday.  

I don't know if that will cover all your bases, but it does from fundamental electronics to analog filters (I'm pretty sure oscs were covered) into basic digital circuits / CPUs.
