[sdiy] Lifespan of Electrolytics?

Dear Paul,
    I know by experience that the Panasonic HFQ series (now FS, I believe) have fairly good audio
performance.  Do the Philips solids sound good to your ear?  If so, the extra dollars would be well
worth it.
