Well after a year and a half I have finished my first modular. It was a
rough ride but totally worth it. Those on this list that helped me through
the first days, thanks a million. Here's the line-up:
78XX reg based power supply built from scratch with two 0-+10V and two
0--10V variable voltage outs and a 3 4channel multiples.
My slightly modified version of Theo's 4017 sequencer
4 ASM-1 type LFO's with ranges from .2 HZ - 300HZ
2 EN-60 type ADSR/AD envelope generators with manual triggers and + and -
outputs added
2 simple home designed 4 channel mixers
2 EN/ASM type VCA's
1 State variable resonant VCF with built in CV and signal mixers based on
TOM G's OBX design
1 EMS Synthi type VCF (diode ladder) from EFM
1 EN/ASM type Noise source with White, Pink and Random Low Frequency outs
2 EN type utility VCO's with a comparator added to get a square out as well
as the saw
2 EFM VCO3d's with VCPWM
I used 18GA stainless steel to make the panels, which I will never do again
because it was nearly impossible to drill, but damn it looks great and is
really sturdy.
well there it is, it's really possible to build you own analog modular!!
I can't wait to start on the next one,
