[sdiy] Temperature stable lin-exp converter with a CA3086 or CA3046

Okay, I think I see the issues. The question I have is
this: how close do 3300ppm tempco resistors match the
temp curve of transistors? Some have said 'exact',
others say 'pretty close'. I am a bit of an accuracy
fiend (thanks to HP), and I'd like the VCO expo
convertor as accurate over temperature as possible.
After all, the human (and mine) ear is most sensitive
to frequency.

I would like to acquire one of these magical Q81s or
equivelant, so I can do some temperature chamber
testing. I want to see just how well that design
works. I already have tested the AN299 design in a
temp chamber. Its performance is exceptional.

So like, where does one buy one tempco resistor?
