First of all, impressive array of switches, Jim!

Yes, that's the old dilemma - when we finally have found a way for economically
*building* something (everything on a single board, no time wasted with
creating a wire harness), then it's not overly service friendly anymore.
MS-20 and modern single-pcb mixers come to mind ...
Better pray that you never have to troubleshoot this thing.

I don't know details about the construction, but I *would* put all the nuts on.
This helps to keep the mechanical forces away from the solder junctions.
