    I am not familiar exactly with the DG213, but I have used the DG201 and the
DG211 a lot. The DG213 looks similar in structure to the DG211.   Generally, the
control inputs on these analog switches is just a TTL level.  So you are right,
as long as you meet the VOH and VOL specs, you will be alright ( and protect it
from voltages outside of it's range).  The DG series is my favorite because they
are very easy to use, although, maybe a little pricey.

    Sounds like you have a good handle on how to use them.
