Yes I had a look at the BOM, but (unless I missed something) they all seem cheap and easy to get hold of bits (apart from the CA3280s which are a little bit pricey .. but worth it if the thread of the past couple of days is anything to go by).  Any idea roughly how much the PCB would cost?

I was wondering whether it needs to be quite so big to get that kind of VC-"vowel" effect.  I have no idea really know what configuration of filters would be needed, but I know it sounds very interesting.
