My Kenton pro-2000 has DIN 24 sync output. One pin of the connector is
assigned to start / stop. That pin goes high (+5 volts) when it gets a
start and stays high until it gets a stop. The stop causes it to go to 0
volts. I have no sync stuff to report on and know little about it. But, my
Kenton claims to sync Roland stuff. Could the Linn simply be an inverted
voltage (+5 for stop and ground for start) ??

can anyone tell me what exactly start/stop info is? a pulse? i tried
getting the linn to sync again (yes, this is becoming a joke..) midi clock
to kms30, from there 48 ppq out from one pin to the linn sync in, and from
the start/stop pin of the din plug to the linn's start/stop input. both
ground wires go to pin 2 (the middle one). still with me?
it syncs allright. but start/stop are reversed.. start on the 909: nothing.
stop on the 909: linn starts. i like the effect, but it's not what i'm
after.
does anyone know those guys from dinsync.com? they announce a linn drum sync
converter on the site..

sure,

din
