My mid-1970s RCA databooks will _never_ be thrown out. They are THE
most useful reference material I have, period. Even more so than the 1982
NS linear databook. While online datasheet pdfs have their place, nothing
will ever supplant the printed page. Think of it as reading a good book
vs. reading the same text on a screen. Somehow I find the portability of
the book to be a major advantage. Besides, I'd much rather set a databook
down next to the soldering stand than my Vaio.
