[sdiy] MN3207 VS CD3207 BBD Question

Hi all,
I've got some CD3207 BBD's and CD3102 BBD clocks.  It looks to me that they are
pin for pin replacements for the MN3207 and MN3102, respectively.  

Does anybody have any information on the 'CD' chips?  Why the different part
numbers?

Any information appreciated.
