I just saw this eBay deal on an Alpha Synturi digital keyboard
that was originally designed to interface with an Apple ][
computer, and imagine that it would be fairly easy to hook it up
to your digital oscillators,

Your FM synthesis DCO card hooked-up to your laptop was
indeed impressive in the range of sounds that it was capable
of! And that was a completely filterless way of creating those
fabulous timbres...

I cannot wait to try running your DCO through the Modcan
Moogy Low Pass VCF at the next Los Angleles SciSound
meeting!

This also reminds me to contact Tim and ask him to bring his
Urban Synth Stick controller next time too!

I'm pretty happy with my Aries Keyboards, but may eventually
put an Arrick Keyboard under it to have some midi there as
well. Of course, then I'll want to put a fully weighted polyphonic
keyboard under that, and well, maybe I can install a chain hoist
to suspend all of this over a Bosendorf eventually?
(Note to Self: Buy Lottery Tickets)... LOL!

In the meantime I have a picture of my rig in progress on the
Yahoo Modcan site here (watch for wrap around in this
incredibly long URL) This picture is at least a month old and I
now have beautiful anodized panels filling my cabinet where
those inkjet printed module prototypes were.
it is time for another cabinet!

When I have some more time I hope to assemble the second
Aries keyboard kit that I have here...

See you at the next Los Angeles SciSound meeting near
Venice Beach Thursday Night October 3rd! Anyone interested
in meeting details is welcome to contact me.

Ciao!

Cynthia
