Tony -
this may sound stupid, because you certainly know it, but anyway:
Are you sure that you don't have an intervall *programmed* for
the upper and lower part of the split?
I don't remember the details (it's in the manual), but holding
some buttons and pressing a key at the same time can program
a transpose function into your Split patch. This should be
an integer value of semitones, but of course it could be
combined with a programmed detuning ...
