Hi Doug (and everyone else),
Here's my take on the panel layout / graphics for your drum synth...
http://www.home.earthlink.net/~timservo2/persproj.htm
and click on "Drum Synth Panel Layout." I didn't move any of the controls (I
realized you already had the panel drilled), but I did rearrange the layout
a bit. I got the mod sources in the same 'blocks' with their destinations,
and lined up all of the level controls. Take a look and see what you think.
Even if you can't rearrange the controls, I think some of the graphics can
still be used to highlight the different functional elements. Anyway, take a
look when you can and see what you think.
Also, I have the PRELIMINARY panel layout posted for the ARP sequencer clone
I'm working on (currently titled the "ASC-1"). I have two versions: the
first has only features found on the original, and the second adds a few
enhancements I'd like to make. I'll also have a preliminary User's Manual
posted soon (part of the project planning process for me, helps me nail down
all the panel controls and their functions), but in the meantime I'd be
interested in any feedback from the group. The ASC-1 layouts are on the link
shown above, and click on "ASC-1 Panel Layout" or "ASC-1 Enhanced Panel
Layout."
Thanks!
