         As somebody who has had extensive experience with the Organic Core 
Flux (Kester 331), in fact, nearly 20 years, don't worry about the 
water.  At the place I worked when we started using the stuff, we would put 
the boards into a dishwasher.  In fact, the boards that were in progress 
would go into the dishwasher so some of them would go through the wash 
several times...never had a single component failure that could be traced 
to the water.  And we even washed the trimmer pots.  I do not recomend 
using your home dishwasher, I just use an old tooth brush.  Having an air 
compressor,  however, is a big help.  After I wash my boards, I blow the 
water off.  However, you do need to wait overnight for them to completely 
dry before you power them up...I have had some interesting "results" doing 
that.
