Hi John!

If you can actually *find* any of these chips, there are some interesting
circuits to try in Thomas Henry's Electronic Music Circuits reprints book

and also his wonderful book "Build a Better Music Synthesizer"
(I found  this on eBay)

There's also a wealth of info and downloads at Doug's Electronic Peasant
site

(I don't know of anyone still making actual kits because the Chips
themselves have gotten extremely rare and be warned that there were/are a
lot of dud dead and otherwise no good chips floating around "out there"

Please let us all know if you find more of these than you can use somewhere!

You might have more success with the chips successor the SN76488 chip that
included an internal audio amplifier for use for example in pinball
machines..
