keep in mind that i am seventeen, a junior in highschool, and in the last
year i have received more calls from music store waiting lists about new
synth arrivals than i have gotten calls for any other reason. up until
recently, i dont think i have ever even had a call from someone i knew at
school. in the past three weeks though, its gone from no calls at all, to
talking to a girl four times a week. apparently things are moving up.

there is someone i know who has [pirated] copies of rebirth, reason, acid,
and some others, but has no idea what a vco or even what a filter is... "he
couldnt tell you the difference between a 303 and a 808"

its funny how many kids my younger brother [ myself as well...] knows who
think they know a lot about punk and everything they listen to. one friend
of his says he listens to a lot of techno. apparently, as he said, most of
my electronic records are underground [like local small style undergound,
not traditional not played on radio, genre specific underground]. but i
guess he is right though. i doubt many people into electronic music would
ever hear about aphex twin, kid606, or underworld. [sarcasm yay!]

and, everyone from my town is wrong people.

when i get a chance to sell my casio dg-10 [buy it!], i think im going to
have to buy a kit to make a little bass synth.
