[sdiy] Alpha Juno & PG 300 Midi sequencing? Cross posted

Hi all,

I got my friend the PG300 for his birthday, we were trying to hook it up to
his midi sequencer, and we couldn't get the sysex to be recorded from the AJ
midi out.
It isn't the sequencer.
we can record it from the PG midi out, but the we have to hook up both with
separate cables.  So does anyone record the sysex changer without a splitter
and a merge box?
