Another issue is not really the quality of the pots but the usability of the
interface. A number of people like large knobs spread out so you can have
easy access to tweak the knobs in real-time. Smaller panels like the Doepfer
and other interfaces that try to pack as much in as they can don't give you
a lot of room and can make tweaking a bit difficult.
