Yo,

If you **really** want accuracy and stability, you
need an OCXO: Oven-Controlled Xtal Oscillator. These
come in a variety of configurations and prices, and
can sometimes be found on eBay. The most popular used
OCXOs are the HP 10554A and 10811A units. 

Then you can take it to the next level and buy/build a
GPS or WWV receiver to do real-time adjustments to the
OCXO. Both used atomic clocks for accuracy.

Or you can do what I do: find someone local with an
accurate timebase and do a quick check.
