We *did* have a fellow wanting to make a battery-powered synth recently...   :)

It would be fun to get some of the engineering samples, but it's only made
in a BGA package. I'm not sure if that's within the realm of Synth-DIY,
using only simple tools, or not. I know that I don't have the ability to
work with it, using my tools.

Does anyone on the list work with BGA? If so, how do you do it a
small-scale production setting? (I mean, at home.)
