This is a good point - if the case and mechanicals are in good shape,
restoration would be doing the synth world a favor. There were only so many
of any given machine made, and in the far future they will all be gone, so
whatever we can do to keep some in existence as long as possible would bring
enjoyment to added generations. We are really the still in the first
generation that enjoys vintage synths.
But if the case is shot and tweaked (like mine was), go ahead and jump up
and down on the circuit boards :)

Its a nifty beast and probably an easy fix.
Or sell it to someone who has a fetish for them...
