Much better, I found someone selling a CD-R of the scanned manual, at
a very nominal price. I should have it any day now.....and the bonus
is, I don't need to lose 6 cm of shelf space. All I have to do is
print out the sections I actually need, which I'm sure is much less
than the entire document. The CD-R arrived today, but I haven't had
time to check it out yet. I'll report back once I've done so.

But thanks for the tip. I sometimes forget that eBay is useful for
finding *practical* things.
