The Bassace isn't what you could consider a TB-303 clone. It's a
relatively simple monosynth yes, but that is where the similarity ends.
It is not a TB-303 clone.
I recall you asking about building a TB-303 clone before. I still
believe that the Oakley TB3031 is the best choice. You said that this
would be too complicated for you, because of the number of components it
uses. However, I believe the outstanding quality of the documentation
supplied with it actually makes it one of the easiest projects you'll
ever do. The EFM projects do assume some prior electronics knowledge,
and consequently even a relatively small project like the BassAce might
give you more problems than something like the TB3031.
Cheers

Subject: [sdiy] Do you know something about BassAce (303 clone)
Hi to everyone!
I just want to know if any of you know something about the "Bassace -
Midi Bass synthesizer", from the web
http://www.ele4music.com/bassace/bassace_docV2.pdf,
If you have build it, if it works, how it looks like, sound... just if
you know something about it, whatever. Maybe i will try to build it, and
I want to be sure that the document is serious. It seems a very easy 303
clone, perhaps too much easy.
If there something similar somewhere, please let me know as well.
Thank you
