The MIDIbox looks like an interesting series of projects, and a lot of
interesting devices have resulted. As i am presently building a MIDI
Control Surface i would suggest looking at alternative CPU, ADC, Pot Motor
Drivers, and the method of controlling the unit modes and functions.

As far as I can tell that's about to change, a bit at least. Looks like
atleast some of it is going to become open source. Also I seem to remember
that the source was available on request, not entirely sure though. Anyway
it's a very modular system, but yeah, doing stuff on your own is definetely
more fun :)
