[sdiy] 16pin dip header

Just want to add tast (IMHO) dip header cables are the best. I'm using them
for the interconnects on the five Milton boards (counting engine to the four
bank boards) and they are reliable as all get up. In contrast, on my first
sequencer I used Molex cabling (a whopping 96 signals via these connectors)
and things aren't always working as a result.
My feeling, save the hassles for the truly mysterious parts of DIYing and
keep your interconnects as simple as they ought to be. For me, this meant
dip header cabling.

Oops,
I just sent this message, but not to the list. Mouser has them, you need to
buy the ribbon separate and assemble them yourself. They are on page 178 of
the older catalog 607 I have here.
Part number is 151-2P16 and $.83 $.64 if you buy 10

Hello,
Can anybody reccomend good source for 16pin dip
headers for ribbon cable? I've checked around the
usual places: mouser et. al. I'm curious if someone
here knows of the end-all source for cheap reliable
dip headers.
Thanks in advance,
Ethan
