Dear Friends,
    I would second that first choice of polystyrene for audio, but my second
choice would be polypropylene, and third would be polyester.  The audible
difference is hard to define, but could be described as "open", "natural,"
"airy," or something along those lines.  But it depends on what you want.
I've put big old ceramic disks in a filter and it sounded gritty and peaky
and microphonic and beautiful.
