[sdiy] Handy soldering tip (no pun intended)

Yo,

Here is a trick: keep some flux around. I use a
no-clean flux pen. Its easy and tidy. When soldering
something that takes about nine hands to hold, do
this: flux the area to be joined, hold the pieces
together, with you one free hand take your iron and
touch it to your solder, then touch it to the joint.
The added flux will cause the solder on the tip to
flow freely onto the joint. It may not be a great
joint, but it will br together. you can go back and
clean up the joints afterward.
