[sdiy] phono preamp

Well, I bought a new turntable after years of being in the CD relm.  Being
the idiot that I am, forgot to get a preamp to go from the table to the
stereo amplifier.  After doing some research, I would like to preamp with
tubes, but can't find any good (inexpensive) kits for a tube preamp.  I
think I may go with the PAIA riaa phone preamp, but not sure how it will
sound.

Any suggestions?
