Hi Caleb,

It's only mildly insane. ;) If you did build one, you'd have a pretty nice
synth when you were finished. I've always liked the assortment of modules
and the prepatching on the 2600.

The 2600 is basically a few large PCBs with several small submodules
soldered to them. The large boards support the sliders and some
miscellaneous electronics, while the submodules are the the real 'guts' of
the system. These modules include the VCOs, VCF, VCA, Envelope Generator,
and others. The overall construction is very similar to the Odyssey, Axxe,
and several other ARPs. I think the schematics for all the submodules can be
found at Joachim Verghese's excellent ARP TECH site.
