check out the VCO circuit for my suitcase synth: http://home.attbi.com/~michaeltbrown1/3819_VCO.html
this VCO outputs both square/pulse and triangle/sawtooth waves, both of which are adjustable via the symmetry pot. the only draw back to this design is that it is linear rather than exponential. Also, if you only require 1 CV input, just leave off the modulation input along with it's 100k resistor.
