A while back there was a nice article in the IEEE Spectrum (for those of you
who don't know this paper, it is is a more light reading publication from IEEE
containing articles from the spectrum of areas where IEEE is involved plus
various features) about Nixie-tube clocks. The latest number contained a
re-take where one of the guys described his hurdles in building a Nixie-tube
clock-kit (which happends to use GPS no less!).

I want to build one too!

I already have a FPGA/LCD clock running from a single R6 battery (no GPS
thought).

The most impressive clock was however the Nixie-tube wrist-watch!

Teen girls? No man, not only them, not only them. I don't know about the US,
but here it goes higher up in age than "teenage".

Well, since you did ask for it...
