[sdiy] inductor based distortion

	It a push pull tube amp, the DC bias current "cancels" out because of 
the way the center tapped transformer is used.  If you were to have a 
class A single ended amplifier, you would then have a problem with the 
bias current bringing the core closer to saturation.
