Well the figure for the alkaline seems to be consistent with the
datasheet for the "Duracell" 9V blocks.

Maybe you should have read the chapter on precision design then, there
they deal with the nonideal behaviour of opamps. I know that the
coverage might not be complete, but at least your statement that they
merely cover idealized opamps isn't true.
