No I would not do this.  Without knowing the circuit VERY well, you will
probably just blow it up, same advice for trying "bridge mode"

No, just at the input side (imho) However if you were absolutly in need of
combining the
channels... I'd buy one of those dual coil woofers, and use a separate
tweeter for each
channel, like they often do in car audio...
