Yep agreed,
At some point there where some "over view" datasheets up (maybe still are).
A bit more informative than the "flyers" but still no details about the
instruction set and stuff.
Think the link with Roland (JV???) is intriguing too.

Sure, just that midi baud-rate if often easier to hit than some of the
"standard" rates.
At least hardware UART seem to love midi better than RS something something
somthing.
