Same here: Stranded for everything that might be moved, or might be
subject to vibrations, i. e. all off-board stuff.
For wiring *on* board: solid wire.

As bad as it looks (no offense - it looks exactly like some of my own
projects!), it has one advantage: When you have finally built this
into an enclosure, and when after some time a pot goes scratchy, or
a switch goes intermittant, it's easy to replace them.

With pots soldered directly into the pcb, testing the circuit *before*
it goes into the enclosure much easier. But later, if you have to
repair it, this is where the trouble begins.
