Hey Magnus,

Yeah, sure! Klystron... MORE POWER, MORE POWER!.. Oh, excuse me, got 
carried away there a bit.

I used to work in microwave communications manufacturing. One of the 
engineers there accidentally got across a 6KV Klystron anode... took him 
4 hours to wake up (glad he did). It is not uncommon for a Klystron to 
operate at 12KV at 5amps, (125KWatts!). There's a new type of Klystron 
called a PPM Focused Klystron which can generate power levels close to 
50 Megawatts. You can see one here:
