Every weekend I do the same thing, South down 101 to Weirdstuff, across
to Disk Drive Depot and Action Computer, then a little further to Halted
Electronics, then south to Excess Solutions.  Then head back towards home
and hit several general thrift stores.  On days when they are running I'll
hit the local electronics fleamarket and at least once a month a trip to
Mike Quin's Electronics.

My GF cant understand this.  She also cant understand why I *read* the new
Mouser, Newarc, Digikey, Jameco, etc etc catalogs like they are a new novel
or something but you know, I pick up things from all over the place. Even
a bit of surplus junk that I have no want or reason to buy might have a nifty
way of mounting something I just hadnt seen before so I get the idea for
free...
