I agree. Most of the high-ticket powered subwoofers on the market
barely do 35 Hz. In no other area have I seen so much spec inflation.

Which appears to be their only real-world application.
It's a billion-dollar market too.

A Klipschorn isn't practical in most clubs or other venues. Rarely do you
find a clear, square corner suitable for it. I have seen people back them
with corners made of 8x8 plywood sheets, with questionable results.

Community Sound makes a horn with an 90-inch by 90-inch mouth
and a flare frequency of 34 Hz....it only weighs 750 lb...

What to tell this guy? He needs to shop for subwoofers, and take his
bass pedals with him.
