Com'on folks - speak up!

Yeah! Yeah!

Seriously I'd really appreciate if you'd do that
sometime. I never heard it how it sounded properly.

Oh dear - this was the worst time I had when
trying SDIY.
I was 16 or 17 when I got the articles then.
I was trying to build this synth with no kit.
I etched the PCB. It was disastrous.
I remember having split the layout into two halfs
somewhere in the middle because it was simply to big.
I copied the layout on transparent paper with
indian ink by hand. Hours and hours. Allways
checking at the windows if the sun shines through.
The etching itself was a nightmare.
Afterwards I tried to repair the under (or over-)
etched traces with strands of wire.
I remember it looked terrible.
Not having a serious bubble tank or something
similar I was just condemned to fail.
It wasn't the first PCB I tried to do myself, but
way too big.
I'm serious when I'm saying this was quite an
traumatizing experience. I never got it to work
properly back then.

Aren't there more attractive ciruits out there to
be tried out by beginners?
Michael.
