[sdiy] cluboftheknobs or just bad photo editing?

Sorry...but after looking at these pictures AGAIN very carefully, most of
the module pictures on this site are nothing more than bad photoshop cut and
past jobs, as many of the panel features (knobs and jacks) use identical
images and the image editing in general is second rate.
A perfect example is the 911 Envelope generator. Notice that the spots,
scratches and surface features of the knobs on the left hand EG are
identical to the same knobs on the right side EG. Now have a look at the
904 filter - If that image looks odd to you it's because there aren't any
shadows being cast from the knobs and jacks on the faceplate, yet the shirts
of the knobs and the rings of the jack show a definitive source of
reflection. A real photograph would have shown a shadow from this light
source as well.
There are other examples, but it's not worth listing. While I haven't spent
enough time looking them over to say all, I am confident enough to say MOST
of these photos were created on a computer, not captured by a camera.
What in the hell is the deal with the bottom right module in their Cabinet
55C photo? You telling me that module's logo wasn't added in? Now notice
the same module appears in the Analogium system, and that the rows of jacks
have a slight CCW rise from horizontal caused by distorting the corners of
the layer to give the impression that module was closer to the apex of the
lens.
I am not saying that this company is a hoax, but their pictures sure in the
heck are and frankly, that gives me reason to be suspicious. If anyone
happens to own one of these modules, PLEASE take a picture of it so we can
the real deal, because so far we have not.
