Thank you for the tip. This is one of the books available at the local
Borders, but it was alsothe single most expensive at $70. Oh well, I guess you have to pay for
quality, right?
Sorry, I figure I could've introduced myself a little better. My name is
Darren, I'm turning 27on June 30th, and I've been an analog synth fan for a long while.
Recently, the bug to getback into making music (I'm a big prog rock fan) has bit me and now that I
own a house, I'mbuilding a music studio. Problem is, I seem to have more time than money
right now, so I'mlooking to build most of what I need myself, from synths to mic preamps
and compressorsand the like. It will take me a while, but I figure I'll come out ahead if
I learn a lot along theway. My goal is to create for myself a sound that is unique more than just
high-quality.
