Todd,
Check out the tube ring mod on my web site:

The transformers are Mouser 42TL218. The circuit
didn't work well with semiconductor diodes but works
great with tubes. I suspect impedance problems. I
can't find any reference to the transformer mentioned
in your circuit. But if you can find the specs for it,
you might find an equivelant at Mouser.
Look closly at the circuit: It doesn't form a diode
bridge, it forms a diode ring. It's a bit different.
Basically pairs of diodes are biased on while thier
opposite pair are turned off. This reverses the
polarity of the signal that gets passed thru.
