[sdiy] Audio Trigger circuits

Hi all,

I'm also looking for such a circuit.
Something that outputs a trigger with an amplitude proportional to th
eoriginal signal.

This must be (can be?) a simple circuit, like the ones used on simple
percussion controllers... but I can't find anything I can build, since I
can't design and I need something clearly pictured...!
The only thing I have is the PAiA percussion sensor circuit
http://www.paia.com/drumsens.htm
but I'm not shure if it's exactly that... and it's designed to get the
signal from a piezo, etc.
How can this be modified to accept a signal from a preamp or, may be better,
from an env follower?

Please masters!

Fernando
